My son goes to day care 2-3 half days a week. We started day care because I needed to get work done without him home, and we wanted him to form attachments to other adults besides family. He started 6 months ago and he adjusted quickly and seems to love it. Now, his two "teachers" have both left within a week of each other and we got no notice of this other than one of them letting us know she had to leave for medical reasons. Am I wrong for wanting to find a new day care and questioning the woman who runs it for not even addressing the fact that both of the regular caregivers would be gone for the under 2 room? My husband seems to think I'm overreacting, but I find it just plain lousy of the owner to not send a note home or address it at all. Any opinions at all would help.
