Advice please 😊

So I started dating my boyfriend at the end of June this year. Super new relationship. His birthday was at the end of July and I got us tickets to a baseball game. We had a great time at the game. He's super into sports so I was thinking, awesome buying gifts for him will be super easy! I'll just keep getting us tickets 😄 the issue I'm running into is that besides baseball the tickets are typically pricey for decent seats. I can plan it out and make it work but I'd really like to get the tickets now for a game down the road while they're cheaper. Is it too soon to make a big purchase like that for something 3 months away? I don't see any reason that would break us up but you never know. And then I'm down $300 😩 Advice please!! 😊
