I’m pretty sure I ovulated Saturday the 23rd or Sunday the 24th, since my OPK was super positive Friday afternoon and night( the 22nd). And then negative Saturday morning.

It only takes one time if the timing is right! We only had sex three times this past cycle before my BFP. The day before ovulation, two days before that, and two days before that.
With my first, my cycles were irregular coming off birth control and I ovulated late so we had BDd 6 times that cycle but the only time that counted was five whole days before O. (my husband got called out of time suddenly and I was convinced we missed our shot that cycle).
