Bleeding...stopping and starting again?

I had minimal bleeding in the week after my c section. Then it stopped completely at 1 week pp. I'll be 2 weeks pp tomorrow and the bleeding has returned with a vengeance. Is this normal? Anyone else had this happen? Thanks!

This happened to me too. I'm 3.5 weeks pp and had really light bleeding that tapered off after about a week. Then 5 or so days later came back heavier (still on the light side).

Anything within the first 6-8 weeks is considered normal according to my doctor.

This happened with me with my second c-section. I bled off and on (mostly on) til 5 weeks postpartum. My first c-section I only bled for a week or so. I was told that overdoing it can cause you to start bleeding again but I was pretty active after my first c-section so not sure how much truth that holds
