White bumps in scars?

So my Bf's scar from a chainsaw accident has little white bumps. is this something to be concerned about? The accident happened in June, it had about 8 stitches in it.

Could be little deposits from healing where the dead skin sat in a skin pore instead of become a scab. Probably could "pop" it
