High White Blood Count

Sophie
On Monday I was in hospital due to high blood pressure, my urine was fine and I was told by two different doctors that my blood results were fine. They were worried about the amount of fluid around the baby and swabbed me to see if I had been leaking fluid which I wasn't.
I got a phone call today saying that they looked at my blood results and my white blood count is high and asked if I had an infection, my response was "not that I know of" and I was told to come in immediately if I experience any fever, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, or cough.
Now I can do nothing only worry that this untreated infection I have may harm the baby. I am 28 + 2, FTM!
