The other day I was at a department store with my 2 daughters. There wasn't anything particular we were looking for. We were just browsing. My oldest daughter found a dress that she loved. it was a simple blue flower print dress, so I told her to try it on. we went to the fitting room, there was a fair amount of people there. My daughter is 10 years old. She is very shy but she decided to go in by herself. When she came out to show me, an elderly lady looked at her and said "Wow, you look sexy" I know she didn't mean it the way I took it. I just smiled and we walked away. I felt so uncomfortable. I don't like that kind of language directed at my daughter. Am I overreacting?
