Everyone talks about Braxton Hicks differently. I've heard they feel like a period cramp and go around your stomach and back leaving your stomach hard for a few seconds. But then I've heard it can just feel like really bad gas or a period cramp, not necessarily into your back, and will harden your stomach.

I've been waking up at night and in the morning with horrible gas like period cramps. My stomach feels slightly harder. When I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom they're gone by the time I empty my bladder. Are these Braxton Hicks?
