Non-stress test!?

Anyone due in November and has to have NSTs? Have you started yet? How did it go?

I’ve been doing them twice a week since 31 weeks. I’m now 34 almost 35. Honestly, they’re kinda boring but relaxing. You get to hear baby’s heartbeat and just chill. lol

I'm doing them weekly but really unsure of why. My OB was concerned about high blood pressure but my highest reading has been 120/84

I started having them 2x/week on Tuesday. They're simple but a huge inconvenience for me since my daughter isn't active at the time that I go in so I have to stay on the monitor longer than the other moms who are coming and going.

I started two weeks ago, 2 times a week (@ 32 weeks). My doctor seems to be concerned because my baby is measuring 9 days smaller. To me it seems to be insignificant, but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. They just measure the heart rate and monitor contractions (if any).

I’m 31 weeks and I’m having my first NST next week for GD, and I will be having them once a week until I deliver.  I was told to bring a book or make sure my phone had a good charge on it, but they weren’t going to be invasive at all or a big deal.

I have them weekly because of a placenta issue. I find them very reassuring. Don't stress if your baby wiggles out of the heart monitor's range sometimes. It happens.

Technically I'm due on Nov 1st, but we scheduled c-section for 37 weeks, 10/11. We are having twins, so started twice a week NSTs at 32 weeks. There's nothing to be concerned about or scared, all you do is sit in a comfy chair with monitors strapped to your belly. One monitor is for baby's heartbeat, the other one is for contractions. They'll record for about 30 minutes and then look if you have any contractions, and if baby's heartbeat is within normal range and if it is responsive to its movements (has to go up with movement).
