From personal experience: I bought a crib and travel system before my first ultrasound which was scheduled for 12weeks and come to find out i lost the angel.I personally will never buy early ever again because it freaking hurts seeing that every single day knowing that I have to wait yet again for my heart to be filled again.

Just my opinion, but...
I wouldn't purchase any baby items until I got pregnant. I was having fertility issues and wasn't even sure that I would be able to get pregnant at all. I think having those items would have been more depressing. Also, if you purchase clothes before baby is due, you might get something that can't be worn because it's not in season. (Ex you buy a cute baby sweater in size 3-6 months and it ends up being summer before your baby is that size.)

Not bad luck, but very unnecessary. You don't know how long it will take you to get pregnant, you don't know if your having multiples, you don't know what your having, you probably won't like half the shit you buy now after you have the baby. I would just hold off for a little bit.

I personally wouldn't. It's all down to personal preference, but I don't know if I can conceive as of yet since I've only just started TTC so I won't be buying anything until I'm pregnant and possibly not until after I'd had my first scan 😊

Definitely not bad luck. Better prepared! Try picking yellows and white colors (so you can use for either gender)
