Yes of course. The more eyes on a situation the better, as long as journalistic ethics are followed.

Yes. War is ugly. People need to see the ugly parts so they don’t just think we should go to war every time we turn around. There are better ways to deal with foreign affairs than just blowing things up. There are innocent people there too. It’s hard for people to get it if they can’t see what’s going on.

Absolutely. As long as we aren't talking propaganda, and while on the topic of media I also don't think that whistleblowers who expose our OWN militaries grotesque and unethical behavior should be jailed or harmed either. 
I'm quite annoyed by the mentality that our military can do no wrong. Especially when they have before. It's naive to think all of our own only shoot the bad guys like in the movies and then move on.
