New U.S. Refugee Policy
The Trump administration announced this week that they're lowering the number of refugees admitted into the United States to 45,000 for the upcoming fiscal year.
This is the lowest cap since the Reagan administration first started setting official numbers, and less than half of president Obamas last refugee ceiling of 100,000. This is despite the fact that we're seeing the largest number of refugees world wide since WWII.
