Need advice please

So my boyfriend has a 15 year old daughter who has refused to contact him for the past 3 years. She blocked him then and has changed her number because (judging by the old texts among their family) his ex wife kind of made their daughter hate my bf. And in some weird moment of fate, we drove by her as she was walking to School one day. It made me think that he should try to contact her and they could try to talk. I want to be able to help him do that but he’s too scared of her still hating him to even think about trying. Should I try to contact her for him? I have no idea what to do. Because I can tell that it’s killing him not being able to see or talk to her. Please help me.
