So, my husband and I tried for 8 years to get pregnant, and had 2 miscarriages along the way. On our 5th letrozole cycle, we got pregnant for the 3rd time. we were offered a 7 week ultrasound from our RE, which of course we jumped at! The ultrasound was perfect - strong heartbeat, beautiful yolk sac, everything looked great. Then we moved to a new state and lost our health insurance... we just got insurance again, but it'll be a while before I can start seeing an OB here because of scheduling.

I'm now 12+2, and to hopefully allay our fears of another miscarriage we ordered a fetal doppler last week (knowing that it was a little bit of a longshot because it's still pretty early, but still wanted to try). Got it yesterday, and found the heartbeat immediately! Between 150-180, averaging around 165! So relieved right now!!!
