Will you tell your future/current children about a MC?

Not a secret, but not something I'd bring up with young children. Don't ask kids to process adult problems. If they asked I would tell but I don't know why they would ever ask. When they are older and it comes up in conversation or there is a meaningful reason to tell sure.

We will just explain that they had to go be with God and that they are watching over us in heaven and we will see them again some day. And then when they get older, if they ask, we will explain more detail relevant to their age

When I had my still born my niece was 7. And she held him and understood it all. My kids will know about there brother. And there other siblings always watching over them.

I don’t know if it’s something I could do! I fell pregnant through sexual assault and later had a miscarriage. I still memorialise my baby but I wouldn’t know how to explain it to my future children. Tough situation

My mom had 3 miscarriages she told me as an adult, I'm glad I know because I've had two nonviable pregnancies myself & my ob said my moms history is relevant

my kids are 3 and I had a very early miscarriage so I won't say anything now but if they ask later, of course. we had just told them the day before that I was having a baby And they know what that means because they both just had baby brothers from their other parents (my son's dad and step daughters mom). my miscarriage was a month ago and they each have only once mentioned that I'm having a baby.  I'm hoping to get pregnant again soon and then that'll be true.  they have no concept of how long it takes to make a baby so I'm sure they won't notice.

I will when they need to Know. I wish my mom had shed any light on anything reproductive related. She probably would say I never asked but I honestly didn't know how to talk about it with her. I hope we can talk about sex and reproduction openly and I can share about our journey.
