when to start washing clothes??

What week should I start washing everything and installing our carseat? I feel like I’m procrastinating at 34 weeks just because I like seeing all the tags and wrappers still intact 😂

I washed the new born stuff, blankets and my diapers. I’ll wash 3 month once she’s a little bigger. I have a ton of clothes up through 12 months.

As far as the car seat goes, if you want to have it inspected, start calling around now. 
My initial plan was to have My husband install the car seat at the earliest signs of labor and run to get it inspected at the local fire department. My nurse pushed me to call to ask if I needed an appt and I’m glad she did! Of the 5 fire departments nearby, only one does inspections and they are only done once a month and you still need an appointment lol.

i washed all my baby stuff after my baby shower, i had my shower at 33 weeks (im now 35w) i didnt want to wash them before my baby shower because i knew id get heaps of clothes etc that would need washing and i didnt want to have to do too many different loads.

I washed all the hand me downs we got immediately. Any newborn clothes we got, I returned for other larger sizes.. 
my mom made all the blankets and sheets (I think we got 5 blankets for the shower) so I of course washed those immediately too 😀

I’ve washed all mine newborn and 0-3 months. We don’t have a whole lot so I wasn’t worried about washing and her not wearing it. Also it’s a great idea to get the shout color catchers since there are so many colors. I didn’t have any issues with colors running when I washed mine with the color catchers.

We have been buying things since we found out the gender at 14 weeks and I have also been washing everything since then haha. I still have a long way to go because I haven't gotten around to washing everything we have received at the baby showers, but a lot of things are washed. My husband is gonna install the carseat in one of our cars this week or next week. I don't th I k you are procrastinating at all. I haven't even packed our hospital bags yet lol. I will get on that by next week since I have everything I need (at least I think) haha.

I’m 35 weeks and haven’t started washing clothes either lol and the car seat is definitely still in the box 🙈😂 this is my last week working, so I plan to get it done next week!

Don't wash it all! Get a good start on washing now, but I wouldn't take tags off and wash everything. The can grow so fast, then clothes get "wasted."
