Shower no, I’m having a “Tea and See” where I’m inviting over the ladies of my family to meet our second daughter and have tea. My family is English so makes sense for us. Lots of people have a “Sip and See” and serve snacks and beverages or wine. 
Gifts are completely at their discretion since we have everything from our first child already.

We had a “shower” for both babies. And my boys are 15 months apart. 
Each baby deserves their own celebration! 
We didn’t register for the second shower, people brought fun/unique gifts for my second son! Or they brought wipes/diapers or additions to my cloth diaper stash!

If we have a girl our next baby we will have a baby shower .. but if we have another boy then no we’re not because we will literally have everything for them already

For our first daughter 5 years ago my sister threw us a baby shower . This time around with our second daughter we decided to not have a shower for the simple fact that we would spend more than what we will get back in gifts . So we decided to just buy everything ourselves instead of wasting money on a baby shower . If family want to gift us anything we asked for monetary gifts so we can put towards our stroller

Yes. Only because it's a boy this time and we have 0 things. For any other pregnancies we'll just have a diaper party though, since I saved all my girl things and will save all the boy things.

I didn’t have one for my first 2 but would love one for my third. But idk. Cause when I gave birth with the first 2, the family all came to the hospital with gifts anyways. So why ask for double gifts from family. Plus if this is another girl I’m all set and don’t need anything but diapers.

my kids are 9 years apart. if they were closer by like 8 years I would have just done a sprinkle for what ever we needed

my mom is going to throw me a sprinkle. just diapers and wipes or gift cards or cash. I had my 1st daughter November 2016. my second one is due Feb 2018. and it's a girl. So we have everything. She wanted to throw me a shower but I told her that I felt bad since we have everything even tons of clothes and that a sprinkle will be ok and just to invite close family and friends.
