Vegan vs Paleo

So...... I wanna know why vegans are against hunters... I understand trophy hunters cause they should be shamed but what about the hunters that hunt for the meat?

My husband and I watched what the health and it was a real eye opener. I have type 1 diabetes and thyroid problems. I currently use the Omnipod and granted since starting an insulin pump I've gained weight...well probably more of where I should be weight wise and yeah my sugars are doing better but...like they say in what the health they're only treating the symptoms...my goal is to get off the pump and get to where I can either reverse my autoimmunities or only need one shot of lantus that's a few units and that last me the whole day... there's a little bit about me...

So my husband and I decided we will no longer use dairy products we will no longer eat eggs we won't buy any meat at all from any type of store... we're only gonna eat game meat from what we hunt... while still doing vegan practices...

Tell where I am wrong w/this? Why am I monster for hunting deer, turkey, goose? I always thank the animal for its sacrifice we don't waste any of the meat at all I keep the bones to make bone broth.

And I noticed the research has only been done on factory farmed animals for poor health meat wise..not a lot has been looked into for game meat so aren't vegans being a little...irrational in that regard?

I just wanna know that side...thanks for your time

Vegans are against hunters because we care about an animals will to live. They WANT to live. They don’t want to die for you to eat them. They have the same desire to live, be comfortable, safe, and happy, that we have. You’re not a monster by any means, I’m sure you’re a wonderful person, but you don’t need to take an animals life to sustain yours. They have feelings just like you and me. 💕

You are not vegan if you eat meat...being vegan means not eating animals or their byproducts..

Most vegans don't believe in killing animals at all. I don't like it but what you're doing is 1000x better than buying meat and dairy from the store. So good for you. The animals you killed have at least had a happy life unlike the animals that have been raised and abused in factory farms.

I have a very long answer as to why I am against hunting, but to put it simply: they don’t want to die. Just like you & me.

I'm against hunting because there is no nice way to kill something that doesn't want to be killed and i think animals are our friends not our food and that all have a unique reason why they are here on this earth and i don't feel we should interfere with them doing that thing but you aren't a monster for doing it i just could never ever do that personally because it goes against my beliefs

Umm it’s that we know there are other ways to get nutrition than killing a sentient being who has a will to live like the rest of us. It’s a conscious choice I make every day, and I don’t care to sit and judge others. I never liked meat, I never liked cheese.. wasn’t too hard for me.

I’m vegan and I 100% support hunting for ecological, environmental, and cultural reasons — if done responsibly.

In my opinion you need to do what is best for you and your lifestyle. I went 100% plant based for about 1 year and have slowly started incorporating a small amount of meat back into my diet just because my body personally feels better that way. Some go plant based for animal rights and some do it for their own health or both. I recommend going mostly plant based to everyone because of the health benefits, but if what is best for your body and your health is incorporating unprocessed game meat into your diet then I say do it. It's your diet and your life not everyone needs to agree with it. Whatever makes you feel fulfilled happy and healthy. That being said, most of your diet should be from plants. The human body does not require very much meat if any.

We don't believe you have the right to kill other creatures. We don't have more right to live than they do. They're innocent and minding their own business. :(

I will say that after you stop consuming dairy you will feel a lot better. I had to change my diet last week due to gallbladder issues and since I've given up dairy, I haven't been constipated. I don't really eat eggs but if I do, we get them from the chickens we raise. Nothing wrong with hunting for food. That's what we do. We rely totally on hunting and raising our own food. Because it's healthier and cheaper. Plus the animals live their lives the best! We also thank the animal as well. People think hunting is cruel because we kill an innocent animal but people don't realize how cruel the food industry is. They don't think about how the farm animals live before they're slaughtered. My sister is Vegan and doesn't like hearing or seeing what I lost about hunting. There's always gpikfnto be haters so let them hate and keep on hunting. 🦃🦌🐇
