Fluid leak, discharge, or pee?

How can you tell if you're leaking fluid or if it's just discharge or pee? I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and my underwear keep getting pretty wet and I feel like I can feel stuff leaking out, but I don't know how to tell what it is. Any suggestions?

Wear a pad, lay down for 30 minutes if it’s animatic fluid it will pool up. When you stand walk around for 5 minutes then Check the pad. Do three times, if the pad is very wet every time, time to go to labor and delivery. Also it till be a clear color and smell like nothing of something sweat.

I just hate going in to only be sent home. The Dr is an hour away, was hoping there was some way to tell at home:/

Definitely call your OB and ask. Hopefully, it’s just pee but if you’re leaking amniotic fluid you definitely want to know. I just came back from getting checked for this reason (granted I’m now past my due date...). My OB said it’s just better to check and make sure everything is alright!

I was told to wear a pad and let it get wet. Then take it into L&D; for them to test
