strangers screaming at me from their car

so i was at the mall and i was walking from store to store and as i was in between stores a woman and a man in a car rolled down their window and yelled that i need to "put on pants young lady". and it's not like they calmly said it, they literally screamed at me in front of people. it was incredibly embarrassing and made me so self conscious. it's florida and it's hot and even if my ass was hanging out of my shorts it's my body and i can do what i want with it. nothing about a stranger yelling at you from their car makes you feel safe.
