Labor???

I’m 40+1 today. Yesterday at my exam I was 1cm dilated (had been at 1/2cm past 2 weeks) and 80% effaced. I’ve been having what feels like horrible period/gas feeling pain lasting 30 seconds to 1.5 mins every 20 mins starting at 5am. Now they’re bad enough I’m yelling during them and they’re coming ever 3-8 mins the past 30 mins. Ftm could this actually be it? I don’t want to get my hopes up. I also am having small spurts of brown blood tinged watery discharge but it’s very small
