Question

did anyone else have trouble breastfeeding their first child but have success breastfeeding the second one?? I had ALOT of trouble breastfeeding my daughter 4 years ago and #2 is due in 5 weeks and I'm really wanting to breastfeed but ive had a few people tell me just go ahead and formula feed since I had problems with first but I know every baby is different and wanted to know did anyone else have trouble with #1 but no problems with #2??

Me. I think part of the trouble was that I was only 18 and didn’t have a support system. Most ppl I knew pushed bottle feeding. I also went back to work at 5 weeks pp and even though I could take my son with me, I was insecure about breastfeeding him in my work place (a daycare at a gym, but ppl were always coming and going) I have successfully breastfed my last five babies for at LEAST 7 months. Currently still nursing my sixth baby and she’s almost 10 months

My sister wasn't successful feeding her first, but was able to breastfeed her 2nd.  Good luck!  I'll be trying to breastfeed when my 1st arrives (due Dec 31).
