We live on the bottom floor of an apartment building. The people above us just moved in a few weeks ago but EVERY morning and at least once around midnight, my daughter is woken up by loud footsteps, a vacumn, loud talking, etc. it’s always around the same times. The walls aren’t very thick and we had this problem with the last people that lived there too, we can’t move, we tried to see if there was one on the top floor, or somewhere more insulated. The problem is that it’s almost like they are stomping. I want to leave a note on their door but what should I say?

Also, the stomping shakes our apartment. But only in the morning. They don’t have young kids, only a newborn but we never hear the baby.
