When did you start buying baby things?!

I've been so worried about a miscarriage (for no reason at all expect I'm a worrier.) But now that I'm 12 weeks I can not stop buying adorable baby girl clothes. Andddd I don't even know the gender yet 😂🤷‍♀️ Doing a reveal with family on Thanksgiving. Everyone thinks it's a girl. I would be happy either way, but these girls clothes are just too cute. Any one else in same boat?!

I only bought neutral things until we found out the gender at 18 weeks.

I would buy all of the requirements for baby first. I know it's hard and tempting but if baby ends up being a bit you don't want that disappointment because you were expecting a girl.

I had a miscarriage back in March but once I hit 12 weeks, in this pregnancy, I decided that I would start stockpiling diapers and wipes.   It was a way for me to work through my worry that something would happen this time around too.  I've known I'm having a girl since then as well, so I have bought a few things here and there for her if I liked it and the price was right.

I waited until our 20 week scan just to be sure everything was fine with the baby and so that we knew the gender. 25 weeks now and we have a few toys and outfits (because girl outfits are soooooo fun!!!) but I'm holding off on other things until after the shower.

we bought neutral things and things like wipes at 12weeks but waited until we knew the gender to buy any boy clothes. I'm glad I waited, I thought I was carrying a girl up until 17weeks and then thought it's a boy. found out at 19weeks that yes he's a boy

I waited for clothes until I knew the gender but I bought my crib, stroller, car seat, play pen etc before hand & got gender neutral colors. It’s my first baby so I’m planning on just reusing what I have when I have another one.
