First off, I'm 6 months pregnant, So i went to the ER Saturday night because I had horrible back pain on my right side and I was peeing straight blood. I was sent to labor & delivery to be put on a contraction monitor and they took my urine. They said they would do an ultrasound on my back to see if I had kidney stones if they couldn't see anything in my urine. But the nurse came back in and said that it was just a bad kidney infection and they called in an antibiotic for me. I've been taking the antibiotic for 5 days now & the right side of my back still hurts. Mind you, I drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. Is this normal to still have pain even though I'm on antibiotics?
