Breastfeeding & Cold medicines?

I can’t get to a doctor cause my insurance expired (not LO’s) so I’m stuck. But baby has a minor cold and passed it to me (?) and now my throat and nose are annoying th crap out of me. I don’t ant to get hubby sick.. is Tylenol cold and flu ok to take? Or day and night Tylenol (I take the pills cause I don’t do liquid med)  what’ do you do when sick and breast feeding  home remedies? Idk

Home remedies? Now you are talking my Talk!💁🏼 mix some tea tree oil with a carrier and place it on your throat. It helps take the sting away. Tea tree oil is seriously amazing. You can diffuse it too to help clear up congestion. Put some under your nose if it’s stuffed up, mix with a carrier. Elderberry syrup is another of my go to. It helps fight the bug and takes the pain away in your throat.

It’s my understanding that both ibuprofen and acetaminophen are safe to take while breastfeeding. Not sure about the other ingredients in cold medicine tho
