It was a very long two days of inactive/active labor. We received a call Wednesday night after having an ultrasound that morning that baby was surrounded by too much amniotic fluid and we were offered an induction the following morning. We arrived at the hospital on Thursday at 7am and began the process. After 24 hours and only going from 2cm to 3cm dilated they decided to break my water. I was able to get to a 5 more quickly and decided at that point an epidural was necessary. 7pm came around and we began to push, but after 3 1/2 hours and very little progress we decided to go ahead with a c-section. Then our precious baby boy was born! We then found out that I had an oddly shaped pelvis and baby has a larger head than normal so no matter what he wouldn't have came out any other way. He is so perfect and has most of my facial features. I'm so in love with this little guy❤
