I’m pregs but can keep working out... thank you very much!
I’m 7w prego and just went to my first doc appointment and after seeing my little one and knowing everything was ok asked about exercise... I do crossfit for almost s year and wanted to know if I could keep doing it... not only the doc said it was ok she strongly advice ir due to my pre eclampsia and high BP history...
So I went back to gym and talked to my coach (which is specialized in pre / pos pregs) and told him the good news... the only thing he requested is for me to alert all coaches that I’m pregs to make sure they adjust works outs..
Today we were doing deadlifts for PR and I had to say to myself that I couldn’t go for pr’s at this point and such... so I was going for a high number of reps with lower weigh (around 40kgs)... but every time I would go to grab more plates my fellow colleagues would float around asking if it was ok or helping me to add / remove plates from the barbell... I know that they were being nice and helpful but I just felt like punching them in the face... Like, I can grab my own plates and deadlift safety... not sick or invalid...
Maybe I can blame the hormones but pleaseeee if anyone touches my stuff again I’m gonna snap!
Am I alone?! I’m only 7w and without a bump... can’t even imagine what happens when I have one....
