Should a lap be done to check for endo?

I'm unexplained infertility and my second IUI failed. I don't have bad cramps but I do get a stomach pain between my ribs. I get it randomly, not necessarily during my period.

I did lap, I found out that not only did I have endo but I had Allen masters disease (endo lesions all around my uterus) after lap I fell pregnant month later, although I miscarriages but then fell pregnant again 4months later. The only sign I had was extreme cervical pain while ovulating and sex

I was one of the people that had no symptoms of endo. But after 3 years of TTC with unexplained Fertility, my GP referred me to Hospital for a laparoscopy to rule endo out.
Turns out I was riddled with endo scarring (not cysts). They did a D&C; and told me it was take about 3 cycles for my periods/cycles to return to normal. Well low & behold 3 months later I fell pregnant naturally! 
Surgery is a big decision, but 100% worth it for me.

I had a lap done 6months ago because my doc suspected that I had endo because of my horrible periods. They did find scar tissue and removed it. They tested the tissue and came back negative for endo. It’s still frustrating cuz part of me wonders if the surgery was worth it or not. But since then I have noticed a difference in my periods. I mean my periods still suck, but they are shorter and not As heavy. I hope this helps your decision. I have been TCC for a year and a half now and talking to my doc about doing iui in the next few months. I pray to god that it works 🙏

Honestly there are some people that have no symptoms and have endometriosis however it’s completely up to you if you’re willing to take that chance of going through surgery because sometimes surgery can make things worse, But at the same time you never know until you go through surgery and there’s women who go years and can’t have a babyBecause of it and end up needing the surgery
