how do you cope with the stress?
how do you cope with the stress of being a new mom? I love my daughter more than anything in the world. But I find myself taking out the new-mom-stress on my husband. I feel every minute of my day is spent getting sucked on, drooled on, thrown up on, cried at, or slept on.. So I can't help but get angry with him when I see him sleeping, or when he gets to go for a run every day, or run errands, or even shower daily. I work 40-50 hours/week, with my 5-week old at my side. so any "free time" I get, I'm just trying to get ahead with work or fit in one chore each day. I end up getting more frustrated than I should when my husband does something like leave his shoes out.. I feel like a horrible wife, and I've just been extremely disconnected. What do you do to keep that connection & to keep from losing your shit on the one person who's going through this with you? I just feel like I'm alone in this hole that I can't get out of on my own.
