I'm not sure where I should post this, hopefully here is fine! I'm curious as to if anyone can help me with a taxes question! The husband and I got married in June, I lost my job the month before and have been unemployed since. I do have an interview coming up and it made me think about what I put down for "allowances" on my w4 (I believe that's the one I fill out in the beginning!) I used to claim 0, when we were just dating. Would I now claim 2? And does it change if we're both working? Like we'd each only claim 1, or would we both claim 2? I will ask a professional a little closer to needing to know but I thought I might get the answer here first! TIA!
