How to be safe meeting up?

I’ve been talking too, snap chatting and texting a guy for about 2/3 months now and he is 3 hours away from me, i was going to go to his town and he wanted to meet up at his place or a hotel for sex, I am down for it! But how do I meet him safely just in case he is not the way I expected? I am 18

First off don't ever just go to a hotel alone with some guy you just met. You should meet in a public area and stay in a public area for at least the first few meet ups. Rushing to get alone could literally be life or death. You don't know this person. You don't know their intentions.

I think this is a terrible idea. It doesn't matter how old you are. You are worth so much more than sex in a hotel room with a guy you barely know. I hope you re-think this. If you like him and vice versa he should be treating you like the woman you are and taking you out for dinners, movies,etc. sex comes once you are in a safe and devoted relationship because the consequences can be high. This sounds extremely sketchy he can hurt you or harm you... if you've never seen him possibly meet him at a mall and get a birds eye view of him and see who he really is and if he isn't what you expected turn around and go back home!!!

Get a friend or cousin or older sibling go with you and see if he is the actual person your talking to meet at a public spot or drive by him and see that's it's him if not drive away or have him come to your city/ town meet at a public spot don't go crazy meet up on couple of dates and get to know him in person before you sleep with him
