unbelievable! !!!

after finding out my husband has klinefelters and no chance of him having his own baby he's been depressed and clearly always told me he would not go for a donor because "it won't be his blood" I've been so sad knowing I won't be able to have another child. well he just said he wants to pick a donor!!!! I'm on cloud 9 right now! we know that my body is in perfect working condition and I'm able to carry a baby I don't want to go through ivf. is it possible to just pick a donor then use the sperm ourselves and do the turkey baster method? would sperm banks just release it to us or does it have to go through a facility for ivf treatment?
