Baby in the 85th percentile!?!

Hello mama's ... my baby girl who will turn 8 months in a couple of days weighs about 20lbs which makes her around 85th percentile - should I be worried? What are your babies weighing currently? Worried mama here.

Mines in the 98% 22.01 lbs. the doctors are not concerned. She’s thriving and growing and eating and sleeping well. She’s been crawling for almost 2 months and she has slimmed down even. I’m sure it’s muscle strength weight now!!

Definitely nothing to worry about! All babies grow at different rates. 
At 8 months my daughter was 18lbs 12oz. She’s exclusively breastfed with 2-3 meals of solids a day.

You shouldn't worry! Its a good thing! It means she is a big baby, bigger than 85% of all children her age, it means she is growing really well! As long as she isn't way above or way behind the curve everything is ok. My baby girl is 95th percentile. Has been almost since birth. Sometimes they will be less in height and more in weight or viceversa, and that is ok too because we all grow at different paces, hope this helps!

My baby at 7 mths. was 20lbs and at 6 mths. she was in the 94 percentile. So nothing to worry about!

My little guy will be 8 months next week. Two weeks ago we took him in (follow up for an ear infection) and he weighed 21 lbs and was 30 inches long. He's a healthy, tall boy, and I love all of his rolls! 😍

Mine is the opposite at 27% ( just had a weight check today at 16lbs 1 oz) . Hr height and head are average at 50%. She was born at 9lbs 9oz which was super high but it tapered off quickly. I use to worry but her gain is consistent and she's happy. There's no right or wrong... we all weigh differently as well because well.. we're different ;-)
