Cysts and OPKs

This may be a dumb question but here goes. We had our first IUI last month TTC baby #2. It failed and when I went in for CD3 U/S they found a cyst so no IUI this cycle. I figured we'd try the old-fashioned way and have been using Clearblue Advanced opk since last week. I've gotten 6 blinking smiley faces so far. In theory, I should ovulate today, but alas the blinking smiley continued. Question is, would the cyst cause the numerous blinking smileys? Will I even ovulate at all?
