i just always got the feeling that my family doesn’t like my boyfriend, they’ve only met him twice but this morning my mom asked if we could chat and she goes into a whole speech about how i need to find someone better. preferably “someone older who can take care of me bc younger boys are selfish” she mentioned a time my boyfriend said that he was hungry and she thinks he should’ve asked if i was hungry first before anything. Then she brings up how my sister only talks to guys who can do something for her (she gets guys to get her whatever she wants) That was so annoying because i get what she’s saying but she doesn’t know anything about him or what we do, it’s just what she thinks. i’m happy with my boyfriend so i’m gonna do what i want at the end of the day.

But i’m just wondering, has anyone been in a similar situation? how’d you fix things? did you tell your so that your parents don’t like them,
