I've had a few cats growing up as a child but only one as an adult. He's been my favorite by far and he's a Maine Coon. Super friendly and docile for the most part but will be rowdy and playful if any toys are brought out. He will purr like a machine and loves everyone he meets (human and animals alike). He's also very tolerable of annoyances, such as getting a paw stepped on accidentally, or my child wanting to smother him with hugs. Every other cat I've known would hiss or run the other way, but he's right there purring away.

I have a tortie and I love her but she has MOOD SWINGS. All torties do. So I’m not sure of the answer but “tortie” is out 😂

I have an American Bobtail. She is the sweetest cat I’ve ever known. I also have a Maine Coon. He’s very sweet but extremely loud and needy 😖
