OPKs twice a day?

Hey everyone, this is my first cycle using OPKs.My question is when do YOU use them.. twice a day or once? and when did you get your surge in your cycle? at what time of day?  iv been doing it once a day (6am) but i still havnt found my surge.. and there is 10 days till AF arrives as per Glow(which was correct last month) im hoping i missed it and actually ovulated. we have been BD every day or ever 2 days.

I read that your body doesntnot make LH hormone when you sleep, so using morning pee will give you the worst result. The exact opposite of pregnancy tests. I got my strongest lines for OPKs after 5pm and I wake up at 5 am

try not to test in early am morning pee can throw the test off .

I read that unlike pregnancy tests it's actually best to do OPKs in the afternoon (Idk if that's accurate or not, but I got my best results later in the day). I just used them for the first time this cycle. I tested twice a day every day around my predicted ovulation day. On the 8th I tested at liked 11:30a and there was a noticeable line, but not dark enough to be positive. I tested again at 8:30p and it was positive. Hopefully that helps, good luck!
