Baby only wants purees

So I started feeding my LO puréed food at 6 months. She usually does great eating all kinds of puréed fruits and veggies. I tried her with some organic puréed meat and she didn’t love it but would tolerate it. I’m trying to move on to finger foods, some mushy chunks, pasta, etc, but my LO wants nothing to do with anything but smooth purees. Has anyone had this trouble or have any tips? I’ve also tried giving her large chunks of banana and also puffs, but she just plays with it like a toy and doesn’t even try eating it.
