Baptized child without mothers consent?

Question

My bf wants to baptize our son but I'm truely against it because he wants his parents as his godparents. They are complete assholes, they go to Catholic Church but are hypocrites and they have some other traits I believe aren't godparent worthy. My bf says if I don't agree with him he'll go along and do it anyway.

They won't do it without the mother, at least my church won't. I'd worry more about my bf being disrespectful to me and my beliefs. He would most likely be my ex bf.

Here's the thing - of your BF is raising your child with you his parents are going to be the grandparents/part of your kids life whether they are the godparents or not so that really isn't the relevant part. 
It is more of a concern that he won't take your feelings on the matter into consideration and would threaten to do it behind your back - that is a really rocky start to co-parenting and not a good sign for your relationship.
Also, what are your feelings on baptism in general? My Rabbi said "if you don't believe in it, it is just water on the baby's head." In other words if it isn't important to you it is pretty harmless to let your partner do it if it is meaningful to them. 
If you believe in it too but just want a say in who the godparents are, that is valid too.

I don't think they will allow him to do that, both parents must be present and the ask for the birth certificate. Most Catholic Churches are extremely strict so I don't think he can do it without you.

He may be able to since you guys aren't married and he does have custody of the child, although that is not fair for him to make a decision like that just because of his parents. 
Ask him if he is he really doing if for his child or for his parents. 
But I hope that he isn't able to go through with it without you!
