Who’s had a kidney infection?

I went in Friday with pain on my right side and back under my ribcage, and they did a urine test that showed some bacteria so she gave me antibiotics for a kidney infection. It’s now Tuesday and it hurts worse on my right and now hurts sometimes on my left. Just wondering if that’s normal? Or if it gets worse before it gets better? I’m just hoping I don’t have to go to the hospital as I’m a single parent with no family 😩
