Belly piercing

I keep getting this scab on my piecing and I peel it off and it looks like this for a while then I get it back. I really don’t think it’s infected because my mom said hers didn’t look like that when hers got infected. Do any of y’all know what this is or have had this. This happened not long after my niece kicked it. I was holding her too close to my stomach and she started kicked. I wonder if it just hasn’t had time to heal properly yet. It’s been about 3 months.
