How long did it take you to get pregnant?

I’m currently trying to get pregnant and I was just wondering because my doctor really didn’t get me a straight answer when I went see her, she just said she doesn’t think it’ll take me and my husband long and prescribed me prenatal vitamins. My husband and I are completely healthy with no fertility issues on either side of our family so I was wondering how long it took 2 perfectly healthy petiole to conceive.

5 years. 3 failed IUIs. IVF blessed us with this little bean that's in my belly now.

One cycle and I’m 40.

It took me 2 cycles with current pregnancy and about 7 cycles with my first baby!

Even with perfect fertility it is still possible it may take a few months to get pregnant. Your fertility window is so small and there are so many variables. I got pregnant on the first cycle and they told me I would have trouble getting pregnant. I think your doctor just doesn’t want you to be worried - again because it’s hard to predict how long it will take a “perfect” person to conceive.  Just let it come naturally, no need to worry unless you feel something is wrong or if it’s taken more than a year I think ❤️

6 years before I had a healthy pregnancy. I miscarried my first baby after 5 years of trying.
