p do my vaginal exam and told me im now 4 cm dilated , up 2 cm from the previous week. He asked " since you are labor and progressing good, do you want to be admitted now or in the morning to have baby. No question, or doubt, " now". My husband and i went to the hospital, got admitted around 10am. At 1030 am doc broke my waterbag. Around 11am i used the hospital birthing ball to get things moving along. At 12noon i was 6cm dilated. The contractions kept coming a little harder and closer. Now contractions were around every 2 min apart. At 1pm i had them check me again after feeling alot of pressure in my lower back and butt, i was still 6cm dilated. The nurse asked if i wanted to walk around to get things moving along quicker. They unhooked me from the machines ,Gave me my flip flops and we went outside for a walk. After 5 min of walkung my contractions were now ever 1.5 min apart. I had to keep stopping, bend over, hold on to rails while my husband rubbed my back type of contractions. I just remembered not to hold my breath for them, i just kept trying to take deep breaths . after 35-40minutes ofwalking and contracting outside , i started to get nauseated. i told my husband i was about to throw up. we walked back in side, the nurse had me lay down, after the next contraction she checked me again, im now 9 cm dilated. these contractions were getting pretty unbearable. i started, to opt out of doing tbe "all natural " birthing like i originally wanted . the nurse reminded me, with pain lime this your at the very end. by now it was 230 pm . she told me during the next contraction we will start pushing. over the next 30 min, i pushed 6 good pushes. it took me longer this time to push, the contractions were HARD, i was in lots of pain, and i truely didn't want to push. i kept holding back. With my nurse on my left side coaching, my husband on the right side coaching me, and my sister and mom watching and taking pictures, i just took my last bit of energy, gave 2 big pushes and baby girl was here at exactly 3pm. the relief I had after she was here . i felt ALOT better. i pushed out the placenta, my husband cut the cord, and we did imediate skin to skin contact for the first hour. she had a hard time latching at first. after the hour was up, we walked from the delivery room, to my room. My nurse already had the shower warmed up so i can get in there and bathe off. As soon as i finished in tbe shower, got out, and started to dry myself off, my uterus started to bleed uncontrollably, and i was passing big blood clots. The nurse rushed in, She called the doc to come immediately, tbey started me on pitosin to start contractions, gave me some meds in my rectum and also gave me a shot in my leg to stop the bleeding. After an hour the bleeding finally subsided to normal. But the side affects from t

he meds gave me the shivers, lots of bloating and gas, lots of cramping, and diarrhea. Im glad everything is over now, and my post partum and new born baby journey is starting. Harper Grace was born at 3pm, on Oct 10th, 2017. She weighted 7.0lbs and was 20"long.
