How should we spell it?
So we have decided to name our daughter Attalea. (A-Tal-ee-uh) It means Palm tree. Our last name is wood and our family has a tradition of naming this generations children after trees. I think it's quite adorable actually. My first daughter's name is Elowen. We also have nieces named Juniper and Georgia, and a nephew named Banyan. Anyways, I'm not really looking for an opinion on the name itself, but rather just how it should be spelled. "ATTALEA" is the actual scientific spelling for the tree.
