Racist?

So this is my first year in college. I have this teacher who is very liberal and her main point in the class is diversity. I love that she is bringing attention to diversity but there is a problem. She openly admitted to give people better grades who are black and Mexican because of her reasoning, whites people are to privileged.... ok and another thing...I have never noticed race sooo much until I was in her class.. I went to public schools growing up but people around me in college (no joke this girl who sat beside me) blames the reason why she didn’t get called first for talking in front of the classroom was because she is black...

I do not understand the girl in my class and why she would think she didn’t get called first because she is black. But I think the teacher let us all know she has no reason to feel like that.. and I just hate how I have to get a Lower grade because I’m white
