Dimpled Skin from shot

About 4 days ago I noticed a bruise as well as a skin indentation/dimple on the sight i got my shot. It feels and looks as if my muscle and fat is not there anymore. Its growing bigger and bigger everyday. I am only 115 pounds, my arms are smaller, it stands out so bad. It looks like muscle atrophy from the injection. I am going back to the doctor this upcoming week. I’ve done some research and found from the kenalog shot it can take years to heal. Has anyone had this happen?
