Straight Pubic Hair

Odd question: Anyone else have straight pubic hair? I mean completely straight, with no curl whatsoever to the point where it's silky, and soft and the texture of regular hair. I didn't realize it was that odd until I changed in front of my bff awhile ago and she just looked completely shocked when she saw it. And the only two guys I have been with were in complete shock when they first saw me naked. Both said they never knew it was even possible to have straight pubic hair, and were convinced I do something to straighten it. I've tried searching the internet to see how common it is, and have been unable to find anything beyond a few people saying they have straight ones, and nobody believing them. Is it that rare? Anyone else either have straight pubic hair, or has seen them? I really never thought much about this, until other people's reactions made me feel like a complete freak.
