I need a depends button. It varies pending on my relationship and where the person is from. Some southerners are more likely to call people darling or other sweet as sugar names even if they don't know them (obviously not all)

If it bothers you, say something. Prob didn't mean anything weird by it. Usually a polite term of endearment, just like sir or ma'am.

No but in the workplace yes....my boyfriend does it infront of me to like cashiers more so older people...but hes just a sweet down to earth guy ...i dont mind :)

Yes. I don't let anyone call me pet names but my husband. It's gross to me for another man to try that.
