baby shower surprise ruined by best friend

One of my closest girl friends lives 4 hours away as do 90% of my friends and family. My fiance has apparently been working really hard to plan a surprise baby shower for me in November by getting the lot of them up here for it. I was none the wiser. So, this morning my best friend calls me and tells me she has to tell me a secret cause she's bad at keeping them and needs my approval of something anyway. She then proceeds to tell me about the surprise shower!! She tried to save face and say she only felt she needed to tell me because her two young kids were also coming and would be staying at my house and wanted to know if I'd be ok with that before she made the trip up. I'm appalled she would do this to my fiance! I didn't let on that I was pissed at her, but did tell her I'd have rather it had been a surprise. The more I think about this the more heartbroken I'm becoming for my fiances hard work in planning this and keeping it from me, and the more pissed off im becoming at her for telling me. She's even left two messages now apologizing for doing it. I'm so utterly clueless on how to handle this. I almost don't even want her here now. How should I handle this? What would you do? I dont want to tell my fiance I know.
